Great that Freo get to play this week.Missed not seeing our players in action.A bit hard to take.
Going to be a hard one to win and the boys will all have to be aggressive and show that they want to win.
Not sure if there will be any changes.A bit hard I guess with Peel having the bye this week gone.Hard to judge who is in form and who isn't.
Anyone heard how Alex Pearce is going? Is Harley still 3/4 weeks away?

I have mixed feelings about this game. After hearing that Selwood is free to play (why am I not surprised?) and the return of Hawkins, we are really going to be up against it. I very much doubt they will come out and play the limp wristed way they did against the Eagles.

I guess the best we can hope for is that all of our players show some enthusiasm. Hopefully most of them will be feeling more energetic after their week off, and we will see some spirited attempts to win the ball.

No mixed feelings here, we'll get pumped. I make no excuses for our team at current, if fremantle was a racehorse, you wouldn't put a dime on them. Smashed by Adelaide, Beaten at home by a broken Collingwood.....and then toyed with by a team who had only won 1 game so far this year. The last thing i'm going to do is start looking for ways we can win. No, i'm not going to unlock the golden books because the whack in the face afterwards hurts too much. Here's the reality, the cats are coming of a loss, they play at home and they get big Tommy back, oh and did I mention that the cats are 3rd on the ladder!!! We got pumped by 57 points by the team running last a fortnight ago, it's a big step up in class, a bit like going from a maiden to a group 1. Sorry folks reality has really taken a hold of me in the last week or so. So when our football team decides to make an effort, then I'll make an effort, I'm off to Adelaide this weekend to watch the rugby league game for some entertainment and with a bit of luck this post will come back to bite me on the ar@#se.

Anything could happen here, you really don't know which team is going to turn up.
Ballas is pretty sure he will get a game and with Brady out he should come straight back in you would think. Harley Bennel looked ok at training tonight they said 2 to 3 weeks until he's playing.
I don't think anyone will believe their eyes when the day comes. Least of all Harley himself.
But he will give us an added bonus, he has great skills not unlike Yarran.

DF we need Ballas' hardness and aggression for this game. I think if he does play we will see a more upbeat forward line. His style of play is contagious.

It was wonderful seeing Harley training with the main group (and not in rehab). We are edging closer to seeing him in purple. Hopefully when he does play it is a Home Game (either Round 17 or 18) which would be wonderful for him and us.

I'm thinking that we may see Sean Darcy named in the squad to play Geelong this week. I think if Sandi plays then Sean will be the back up ruck. However, No Sandi = No Sean. It wouldn't work with Sean playing as backup to Griffin.

WOW a huge ask for Darcy in his first game.Number one ruckman. Good luck to the kid.I am sure he wont take a backwards step.
Sutcliffe had to go.Not sure he will be at the club next year.
Great to see Balls back He will give some grunt up forward, and hopefully give Kersten and McCarthy a bit to go on with if they don't perform.
Logue is an interesting selection. He showed something early but faded so hopefully his body is now more ready for the rigours of the big time.He will be a good player for us in times to come.
All we can ask for, is that the group give a 100% red hot go at the Cats.Looking forward to the game, not with trepidation, but anticipation.

A very big ask for Sean anchor. I'm stunned TBH. Well he's being thrown in at the deep end so we will really see what he's made of. The Match Committee must have some confidence in his ability. As Sean hails from around the Geelong area I would imagine he will have a pretty big fan base with his family and friends turning out in droves to support him in his debut. Go Sean!!

It would be nice to see Josh DeLuca play as well. I think Collins will stay in as a backup ruckman for Sean. I also suspect that either of Ryan or Cox will play as well. Of course, it may be that Ryan does the back up ruck work and Collins misses out. We will see tomorrow.

We might get outplayed by the Cats (and umpire Pannell who is a big in for them), but I really don't think we will see a lack lustre effort like we saw with Brisbane.

I expect our Seniors to lead the same way they did from Rounds 3-9. I fully expect that I will have to mute the commentary with the commentators banging on about Dangerfield ad nauseum. God it's bloody tedious.

How many times have we muted the volume PH, I know i have to most games, because it is sickening how much they want the other team to win .   They can't hide it.
The way to stop them is for us to win, and win well.
We could take this one with a bit of luck, not that long ago i thought we had the wood on Geelong albiet it was some time back.  It is  bad luck that Sandie isn't up for it to help darcy out , but we go with what we have.
Good luck to the newcomers.
