Well it ends up Eagles because at the moment (half time) I'm even lovin Toby Green.

61 / 26

An embarrassing score for the Eagles, hoping GWS can keep it up.

Although I love nothing more for WC to embarrass themselves at a Grand Final

I also think Toby Green has the most punch able face in the AFL, that is up till tonight Goby.
What a glorious finish for the egirls.   I couldn't be happier with the thrashing they received.
They only got this far by default.   As for embarrass them selves at a grand final , they already did that last time.
I hope they enjoy the trip home.

With out doubt the mob referred to by me as the Yellas.I would even barrack for Collingwood before even thinking about the Toasters.

Toby Green may well have a punchable face. but gee he would look sooooooooo good in Purple.A super player with super skills.

29 = 353.

Improver one,Taylin Duman.

Improver two, Brett Bewley.

What's "The West Australian" going to fill its papers with now?

It was the smug look that made me want to punch his face Anchor.  haha

But not anymore, we can only dream what it would be like to see him in purple.

They really showed just how weak the eagles are last night.

I was so happy at the result I almost brought out the bubbly! Waste of a good drop though!  And as Fay said, the weasely weagles were there by default - due to an umpiring error. That umpire was dropped and won't umpire another AFL game this year I reckon.
I don't mind Toby Green - can't see that much difference between him and Ballas, as far as opposition pests are concerned. But Green is the better footballer - to each his own I guess.  [wink]

That Nathan Wilson looks like a great little player too, always playing his role.  Wonder if we will have any success luring him into the royal purple? Time will tell.

Vivian I heard on the radio yesterday, that like McCarthy, he is home sick and wants to come home, and to the Dockers. Not sure just how right it is.
I find it amazing just how brittle the Yellas supporters are. They are more than prepared to hand out advise on where other teams go wrong, How sheet their payers are etc etc etc.
Yet when the boot is on the other foot they sulk, spit the dummy become offended and upset.

An amazing breed of people are the Yellas.

I agree with you Vivian that Toby is a better footballer than Ballas as it stands today, but not going back awhile  when  ballas  was in his prime.
They are both good players, only our little guy is at the end of his playing days.
I also wanted to celebrate the game  Vivian, it was wonderful result and a deserving one.

I actually derived just as much pleasure from Basil's commentary of the game as I did from the Eagles being given a right royal flogging. It was priceless listening to him trying to find something positive to say about them. Even when GWS were ahead by around 7 goals, Basil was saying things like "that was a brilliant mark" about a very ordinary mark by an Eagle. Poor, sad Basil he just kept trying to make them look good - hilarious stuff.

The silly part about the Eagles' finals campaign though was that they truly believed that they were genuine contenders for the flag. All that on the basis of sneaking into the eight on a mere 1/2 of one percent because Melbourne fell to pieces, and Shuey pulling his cheating ducking stunt and getting a free kick right in front of their goal. I'm sure Port Adelaide fans enjoyed that game as much as we did. Shuey kept looking to the umpires for frees and they kept ignoring him.

BTW Shuey's new haircut is diabolical and a pitiful imitation of Dustin Martin's. I guess that with all the sickening adulation he has been given in the West this past week, it has led him to think he is a Dustin Martin hahahahahahaha.

The entertainment value of that game was pure gold.
