With all the doom and gloom going around, it would be nice to be able to have all the WBPers. staying in touch here.
Though we are few, we have some sort of bond I think. We can make sure that we are all doing ok, or other wise.
It will be a stressing time for all in the coming months, as it has been since January.
I will do my best to post a couple of times a week.
I have a past player story already to put up here.I will try to occupy my self with looking for some of the more obscure players we have had.
To you all, admin included, look after yourself.Sat away from crowds, make sure that you observe yopur space.
Wash your hands. I know , I know, it is being bashed into us, but we need to be reminded.
Stay safe friends. We will chat soon.
Any one want my FB details PM me and I will pass them on.
Stay safe .

Thanks anchor for your good wishes to everyone and your encouragement, and of course, the past footy player series you have started.

This event is changing so many peoples’ lives and life as we know it will disappear for a while.  I feel for the players who have trained so hard and committed so much of themselves, only to have it all disrupted.  I feel for the Club when we had starting down a new and exciting road with new personnel and a rejuvenation of our membership numbers.  I also feel for our fellow Docker fans, who have been following the players and training sessions and have been anticipating what promised to be an exciting new season for our players and Club.

The worse thing that could happen now is that our beloved Club loses ground with a loss of members because of this event so stay stay strong people and keep the Freo footy spirit alive.  It’s more important than ever to support the Club.

No doubt Fox will start a campaign of re-runs of 2019 games.  The first half of our season was pretty good and will help carry us over.  It’s something to do at least to kill the time.

All locked down over the ditch as of tonight 25/3. So online and phone only outside contact.
Bit disappointed with the AFLW and how it ended -  But lets look on the bright side

6 - 0 including the final - the only AFLW team to do it and the demolition of Gold Coast was mighty impressive. Reminded me of us poor kiwis at the hands of the aussie cricket team Ã°Å¸ËœÂ¹

Silly question did the freo boys take home the gym from the club like the east coast teams?

Anyway Lots of love folks - be safe Aussies and will get some more footy, when we get some more footy.

Well, if life was going on as normal, I'd be getting myself ready at the moment to be heading out the Stadium to watch Fremantle take on Hawthorn.  More's the pity as it is a pleasant day outside which would have made ideal conditions for our players and spectators alike.  I suppose I'll just have to get used to this, but I'm not one for being cooped up at home all day.  Cabin fever looms.

Never mind Uncle.  Do what I’m doing and that is pretending that it was a great game and in spite of some very tense moments we came away with the points.

Whew glad that game’s finished 👍

These phantom games are the way to go as long as we win more than we lose haha.
We have never faced anything like this before and it is scary , so good health to  all  our posters.
I was very taken with what a women said on TV and what was said was  ........If this virus was killing our children instead of it being  a death sentence to our elderly then everyone would do the right thing and stay apart with no crowds.
She made a valid point.

This has nothing to do with football, but I woke up this morning to hear the sad news that British comedian Tim Brooke-Taylor had died of  the dreaded coronavirus overnight.  He was 79.   He was certainly in that vulnerable age bracket, and it just hits the message of home how COVID-19 can really get take a grip.

Tim of course was best known for his appearance with the comedy trio The Goodies.  I was a Goodies tragic as a kid (and as a teenager, thanks to the ABC's upteen repeats of their programs), so a childhood hero of mine has left this world.  I even had the pleasure of meeting him once.  It was very silly humour which The Goodies delivered, but boy they made me laugh.  It is of course an unfortunate time for anyone  to be dying, as many funerals and memorial services are having to be either held in relative silence due to our social gathering restrictions, or are being put off indefinitely to a time when people can again gather on mass to grieve and remember.  RIP Tim, thanks for the warm, funny memories.

I’m feeling your pain uncle I also was a huge goodies fan.Just goes to show that it doesn’t matter who or where you are the virus doesn’t pick or choose who it infects.
Lets hope that we can really get on top of this terrible virus quickly it looks like most of Australia is doing a good job at the moment not so good in the UK and the states it looks a lot like some countries left their isolation strategies a few weeks late and let the virus really spread like wildfire, luckily Australia seemed to be able to isolate quicker.
