I suggest those with weak stomachs and wavering loyalty watch something else.

For what it's worth, we are still the last team to beat the current premiers, and it will remain that way regardless of the result this weekend. Trying to remain positive[thumb]

Does Fyfe as captain, have any say with the players  where Ross is concerned?
I kept hoping there would be changes, if not at quarter  then half time , when we could see that some players were being beaten in the position's  they were in.  But no changes came in our last 2 games.
Hence the question about the captain.    Can he shift players around the field, or are his hands tied.
Why Ross plays a lot of them out of position is beyond me.   You could be mistaken in thinking he is  throwing the game.
Where is the team that gave us so much joy when we played Geelong,  when all the cards were stacked against us, then Sydney at Subiaco that got us into the grand final.   That fighting spirit is no longer there.

I wouldn't think Fyfe has any say, that is up to the coach and the line coaches.
Who do you see as being played out of position Fay?

2x25=Seinor&Michael.

29 = 353.

Improver one,Taylin Duman.

Improver two, Brett Bewley.
Smokey, Tobe Watson.

Because of Lyon's defensive game plan anchor, we see our forwards having to push up into defense when they are forwards. Weller, Cam and Kersten.
How many times did the back line have to stall, because there was no forward to kick it to.
Lyon's game  plan sounds ok in part, to stop the other team from scoring .   BUT, we need to be able to kick goals down the other end to win a game.
Conner Blakely has shown he is an inside midfielder, but is played forward flank.
It is what Ross did to Barlow.
Sutcliffe, although he has played defense for a  lot  of games, was better in  the midfield and would be suited to a mid role i think.

In: Balic, Logue, Grey, Hughes,Crozier and Sheridan.
Only out named so far is Dawson.Not a good sign for Daws I wouldn't think.
I would also think that Johnson would be out,Sutcliffe and maybe Ibbotson. Maybe, Kersten, though Lyon was impressed by him last week.
just dawned on me, no Collins!!!! So I guess that probably Ibbo will be safe.How does Collins not get a guernsey!! Maybe he is being punished for a misdemeanor.

2x25=Seinor&Michael.

29 = 353.

Improver one,Taylin Duman.

Improver two, Brett Bewley.

Fay, Lyon has employed that strategy since arriving at Freo. Our forward always been high up the ground.It was very obvious last season when Ballas and Son Son were used as defensive forwards.We saw a lot of times we won the ball in the back half and had to hold up the play for them to get back.Not sure they are played out of position, just they have to play multiple roles.

2x25=Seinor&Michael.

29 = 353.

Improver one,Taylin Duman.

Improver two, Brett Bewley.
Smokey, Tobe Watson.

Oh Boy, apart from Collins not getting the gig I am rapt with the new line up.

The way I see it, even if we lose (and lose big time) we are at least getting some games into our kids who are our future. I think the kids will bring energy and speed and I'm now really looking forward to it.

Bring it on!!!

I'm not that onboard with Hughes, I haven't seen much from him to say he will be anywhere near a good player. Sheridan is inconsistent.

There's quite a bit of flexibility in that line up.  Might get some supporters to the game because if Freo went with a similar list there would have been a boycott.
