With Cam having a rest on the sidelines we may see Ryan Nyhuis come into the team along with the return of Blakely of course. I can't see that Connor would not be an automatic in this week.

From what other posters are saying Nyhuis seems to have been carving it up in the WAFL, and could well have earned a spot in the team.

We may also see the return of Kersten to the forward line. Ross may be interested to see how Shane goes along side Brennan Cox, whom I'm sure will play in the same position again. He equipped himself very well against St Kilda. So much to like with this kid, especially his ability to take difficult contested marks.

I don't think Blakely will play this weak in Purple.He will wear the Teal of Peel.
Watched a bit at training this morning, I was late getting there, but he was with those recovering from injury.He didn't look too happy.Running was forced to run on the out side of the other two.
I think the issue is far from resolved. Also a chance to blood someone who wants to play in the Purple.

2x25=Seinor&Michael.

29 = 353.

Improver one,Taylin Duman.

Improver two, Brett Bewley.
Smokey, Tobe Watson.

I still think Connor will play anchor.

I suspect the Match Committee won't want him to lose too much momentum by missing two games.

I suspect Sheridan, Logue and De Luca will be in the final cut.

However, Ross may want to send a strong message to Brady by dropping him for causing a reversal of Ballantyne's free 50m kick last week.

Brady plays an aggressive game and is very effective, but he also needs to develop some self-discipline, particularly when we have been given a free kick (oh and also whenever Margetts is umpiring).

Spurr out of Squad

Fremantle has made an update to their squad of 25 for Sunday’s clash against North Melbourne, with defender Lee Spurr omitted with a calf injury.

Ruckman Jon Griffin has come in to replace Spurr in the squad of 25.

Does anyone know which of the three Emergency players made the flight?

I'm really surprised that Nyhuis won't be debuting this week. He must be wondering what the hell he has to do to get a game. He's been a standout in the WAFL by all accounts.

I just hope that Ross isn't saving him for the bloodbath - Oops I mean Derby next week.

Crozier at CHF and Suban on the HFF, OMG, tell me it isn't true??

I'd rather see David Mundy at CHF, he is a beautiful kick for goal and has the body to be a KPP.

Thompson and Ziebell, from the Kangas, are two tough snipers who like to hurt players, so our young ones need to be aware of that.

Will be hoping for a win but if it goes like last week won't be holding my breath.  Would like more consistency with less turnovers and less handball.  Also less congestion please so our forwards are given a little space to grab the ball when trying to score.  At least will have some amusement with David Rohan as a goal umpire.

Go Dockers!!

That's really quite funny, I said once in 2016 I wouldn't mind Crozier at CHF and got a lesson from the forum. I doubt he will stay in that position for long but you never know he might just get creative and last longer than we think.

It's a curious slot to place him.

With the team sheet I'm sure only the FB & Ruck stay in their positions :-)
Less turnovers would be fantastic
Our squad has plenty of pace,could be good experience for Darcy v Goldstein.

On a side note glad to see Balic & Langdon playing this week at peel.

Mundy out due to illness and Nyhuis is in, with Blakely going to the midfield. We will field the most inexperienced and youngest back six I can remember.

Johnson, with 223 games, may feel like a grandpa amongst the other youngsters. 5 players with 63 games between them!!! Even Hamling has only 37 games under his belt and he and Johnson are the only two talls to defend the goal space.

I wish Nyhuis and all the young players well today, with support coming from our experienced players, not just Walters.

Go Dockers!!!
