Unfortunately Mr and Mrs Frosty will be unable to attend on Saturday as duty calls next door at Allianz. We will however be at the S.C.G for the Swans game. The way where going I don't know which game will be worse, but it will be nice to don the purple on my home soil. A really tough ask this week, I would love to see the old Gung Ho Harvey days come back for this one. After all there is nothing to lose now so how about it Roscoe, let em run, we can't kick so let em of the leash. Go boys.

Walters and Spurr are both out with injuries.

Cox and hopefully Ryan (if his ribs are ok) will return this week with the rest of the team to be unchanged I suspect.

I think that Sam Collins will travel as the Emergency.

GWS will be missing Toby Green which might help us a bit.

Looks like Weller will move into the midfield for a while during the game.

Looking forward to seeing how Darcy goes against Mumford.

I'm pretty sure he won't be overwhelmed going up against his childhood idol.

Go big Sean!!

I am sure Darcy will be very disappointed that Mumford has been withdrawn from the side.
Surprised Sutcliffe cracked it for a berth. Deluca out after one game.

Geez the MC haven't given Deluca much time to build some momentum. Getting just the one game and then being dropped this week hardly seems the way to go about things.

Yes anchor, no doubt Big Sean will be disappointed with Mumford not playing, but he will more than likely dominate in the ruck in Mummy's absence.

I'm expecting a very big day from Mr Darcy.

I think with Cox and Grey both coming back, Deluca had to be the one to miss out.But would have loved to see him get another crack.

Given that Sutty has been playing in the midfield at Peel, and getting quite a bit of the pill, I think we can expect to see him doing a stint in the midfield on Saturday. Possibly he will alternate with Weller in that role.

My biggest concern about the game (apart from scary kicking) is the fact that GWS's forward line players are tall timber country, which means that our defenders will be dwarfed by them. Not sure how tall Patton is, but he would have to be up there with a Karri tree.

This means that we are set to be dwarfed at both ends of the ground, and will have to be mighty creative to get around it.

What I wouldn't give to see some precision kicks from our midfielders going straight to the chests of our forward players, who then slot it through.

How different would our games be if that happened on a regular basis?

I think you have hit the nail on the head PH,kick straight, mark ball, kick goal,I don't think the club can work on any real game plan until the players can master the basics consistently.im sure the players are capable so let's hope for great effort & skills tomorrow.

Yes on Suttcliffe. Sutty has been played out of position in the backline. My memory has him as a good kick when he played on ball in his early years. So he definitely deserves his spot . We can't just play kids for the sake of it and I reckon Deluca will be back.

This game will not be pretty with even the weather being perfect for a talented side.
To keep this game within a 10 goal defeat we will need to play very unsociable footy.
And as the cup goes up hear the shouting
Freooo, Freo.

Not one for unsociable footy with nothing to win at this end of the season.

Effort with no injury would suit me fine.
