Admin has added two new forums here, so hopefully we can get a few other topics going other than just Fremantle footy chat.
For me , I am a bit of a sports nut.I know a bit about a lot, and don't mind having my say about it.
After footy , my favourite sports would be ,cricket, boxing, athletics and cycling.
Just spent a few late nights sitting up watching the Giro d'italia. Some great racing, especially the last couple of days. The Tour De France is on next month so many more late nights.
With the Ashes due in Aus this coming season, I would hope we can get some discussion going and maybe a little banter with the Pommies who may be here.Just as a side note.I noticed the Poms playing against the Saffies last night lost 6/20 in the first five overs of a ODI.Not sure just how close to the Test side they will bring here, but gives the Aussies great hope.Even if the pay dispute is not settled and the Aussies field a second type side.It would be similar to what we fielded when Packer took over the game.
Great to see young Aussie boxer Jeff Horn getting a crack at the great Mannie Pacquiao at the Gabba on the 2 of July. Not many of the over seas experts give Horn much of a chance, but I believe Horn will give the Pac Man a scare even if he doesn't beat him.
It would be folly for  Pacquiao to take Horn lightly.Horn is a class act.He can take a punch and he can also punch with the best.
The Commonwealth game on in QLD next year on the Gold Coast.
Plenty of sports to chat about, so let's make the effort to have a say on a few sports here.

Have always enjoyed the Tour De France anchor. Enjoyed watching Jan Erhlich (I think that's how you spell his name) in days gone by. A very gifted cyclist.

Looking forward to July to see some top notch cycling.

PH, I enjoy watching the tours, especially the Tour de France.
I am lucky enough to have Fox and can watch the main events on there.
Watching Richie Porte during the recent event, it makes me wonder how he will go in the tour.He like Cadel Evans looks like having to do a power of work alone. His team didn't really support him all that much.
I used to love watching the track cycling at the Lake Monger Veledrome way back. The track cycling is very exciting.Pity the cycling centre is now way out in Midland.Too far f or me to travel.
