It amazes me when I listen to the so called experts when they talk about Aaron Sandilands.
Most don't rate him as the best ruckman in the competition, yet when they are talking about how good another ruck man is, they always, yes always compare him to Sandi.
Sandi is the benchmark, but not the best in the league. Amazing.

2x25=Seinor&Michael.

29 = 353.

Improver one,Taylin Duman.

Improver two, Brett Bewley.
Smokey, Tobe Watson.

Yes that is a bit strange isn't it. I never thought of it like that before.

During the Melb game on Saturday the commentators wouldn't shut up about Melbourne's ruckman Jake Spencer ; Sandi bloody smashed him.

Spencer may have taken two or three marks, one of which was a fortuitous mark in the goal square, other than a fair effort around the ground which Sandi did alright with as well, Spencer was totally dominated by Aaron.

I hear, now, Witts is the greatest thing since sliced bread since Max Gawn is gone.

The tragedy for Sandi, and for us, is that the umpires do absolutely nothing to protect him.

He seldom gets anywhere near the number of free kicks that he should because umpires have allowed opposition players to scramble all over him.

Just as an aside, Sandi is as tough as they come. Was watching Cloke leave the ground in agony from a couple of broken ribs the other night. I thought back to when Sandi suffered broken ribs as well as a punctured lung from an incident with Nic Nat and I remembered how stoic he was when he left the ground.

We sure breed them tough at Freo.
