Very excited by the news that Liam Henry will debut this week in the Indigenous Round.  It’s taken a while for it to happen but the day has arrived.

Antoni Grover made the announcement at training this morning and you couldn’t get the smile off Henry’s face.  His teammates looked very happy for him, including Joel Hamling who was at training walking laps.

This is going to be one hell of a debut people.

Can’t wait till Saturday!!

Forever Freo!

I think Liam’s debut has had the same effect on a lot of fans tip tops.  I expect to see a very good turn out now.   Liam would have to be pumped about playing.

Nothing can prepare the debutants for the noise that we can make.

I’ve no doubt there will be an almighty roar when he runs out 👍

Certainly exciting times for the club and supporters. At last we are seeing some progress in regards to our "REBUILD".
Young, Sturt, Frederick, and now Henry. All are exciting players that hopefully will give us pleasure for many years to come.
Add to that the vast improvement coming from Brayshaw and Cerra, both just 20.
Buckle up Purple People.

He went ok.  Had a few marks and kicks etc.  He said after the game that he was a bit overwhelmed by the pace of the game and I suspect the physicality of it as well.  I’m sure there were a few decisions he would’ve made differently given the opportunity again.

It’s behind him now and look forward to seeing what he can do next week.

I’m glad I witnessed live young Liam making his debut.
Yes PH he was caught out a bit with the speed of the game but you can tell he has a great gift a bit like Fredericks who was very fumberly in his first couple of games but now seems to be a lot more comfortable playing in the first team like all the young guys we have to give them a bit of time to get into the grove of playing against men.
Yes Anchor the future does look bright 👍👍
