Logue wasn't out on the track this morning.
Stephen Hill was moving much better but I think he'll miss this week and be ready for Essendon .

Today's training focussed on skills and speedy ball movement which was all fine.  Only problem is there wasn't the match day pressure but there isn't much you can do about that. Nevertheless it was slick.

They drilled with a 7 man defensive structure and from how they set up, I predict Sutty will be the 7th defender.  Blakely was also in the back half so it Looks like he replaces Lee Spurr.

We look to be continuing with the five man forward line again, unfortunately, which is bloody disappointing.  The structure today had three talls with Tabs, Kersten and McCarthy lining up with
Ballas and Matera.
Ed langdon started on the point of the centre square on the forward half side.  He is probably going to be one of the wingers and move forward from the centre bounce.

Brad Hill trained impressively and looks certain to play.

Sutty and Danyle Pearce also trained solidly today.
Brennan Cox trained mostly away from the main group this morning and I would think no chance to play.

I can see Freo by 14 points here.

Good Luck Dockers.

Not far off anchor, Logue and Cox look the outs .
What pleases me is that Ross has named Crowden in the emergencies, not much chance of being picked but it will make him feel good that he was named.
Anyone else feel nervous?

Thanks for the run down Fred, Is logue still having trouble with his foot?.

I was perplexed that Hamling was omitted, so reliable last year. Is it that we don't want to be too tall with Johnno and Pearce? I had him in my side instead of Sutcliffe. I'm expecting a big showing against Port, and ya just never know...

I think Hamling has paid the price for attending a wedding and not playing in the first JLT game. The other talls have done so well that Hamling now has to work his way back into the team. I was very impressed with Alex Pearce, he's such a smart footballer.

I'm also a bit confused Geijin I would of thought Hamling would be one of the first picked.
D Pearce & C Sutcliffe must of been impressive over pre season, after last year I thought they would be making way for younger guys this season.
Good luck to our new recruits Matera & Wilson and draftees Brayshaw & Banfield.
New season new hope Freo by 16 points.

Not sure what’s going on there. Logue wasn’t training.
It’s a puzzle as he trained okay Tuesday. I wasn’t expecting him to be named because he has missed a fair few sessions recently.
He may be out for an extended period.
