What an awesome summary Anchorman!!  I really appreciated reading that - it was like re-living the game, for me. Have to agree, we need to enjoy the good times with the younger players. Seems we only mention them when they had a big clanger.

Sure, some may not last the distance and there are a few that will ask to be traded - Ed Langton, pretty sure, but that is the life of a footy club.

Can you remember Fyfe in his first two years, Anchors. I watched him closely and my friends in Perth remember me being besotted with him and saying one day he will win a Brownlow.  Well, why am I saying that???  Because I get the exact same feeling from Cerra. Sure he's had some clangers, but Fyfe did too, but my confidence and conviction never wavered. I'm sticking to it with Cerra too.  Unfortunately, he is the one many clubs are keeping a close watch on. Every clubs' list manager has Cerra in their sights, if you listen to their podcasts.

Love Duman!! Who's Du Man? He's Du Man!!  And Mr Darcy too. Cult figures to follow. We need some personalities at our club.

Heard Fyfy being interviewed on Triple M for 16 minutes this morning. He was so humble yet was able to put Carey and a few others, like Brereton, back in their boxes with a few amusing comments. Created some uneasy laughter from the panel. lol
All class is Fyfe!!

I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Dockers develop next year, with fewer injuries and a full pre-season into young bodies.  But please, no more short midfielders with our draft picks!!  Pleeaasse!!  Recruit for the modern game. All clubs building grunt into their midfields ............ just saying ...........
