Well anchor, the wait is over we will get to see Cerra and Crowden in action on Saturday.
I can't wait and with 4 coming in who goes out, a couple are obvious but will have to wait until team is announced.

Four of our draft making their debuts in the first two weeks of the season.Unheard of from a Fremantle perspective.
Well done to the boys for putting themselves up in the spot light with performance. Well done to the match committee for selecting them.
I am sure we will see quite a few more before seasons end.The likes of Sheridan, D Pearce, Sheridan etc, will come under constant pressure to perform.
I am surprised that Tucker was dropped this week.Maybe he wasn't in all that good a form, but he wasn't Robinson Caruso .The other three outs were no surprise to me.
Looking forward to seeing our new recruits in action and real life.Looking forward to seeing the new stadium for the first time as well, but the new recruits make me more excited.

2x25=Seinor&Michael.

29 = 353.

Improver one,Taylin Duman.

Improver two, Brett Bewley.
Smokey, Tobe Watson.

I’m disappointed with the Darcy Tucker omission. Although he didn’t have a huge number of disposals he went at DE100%.
In a game where our top players were woeful with their kicks someone who didn’t miss a target being dropped the next week is a shock.
Really, Ballas is very lucky to hold his place although I wouldn’t be shocked if he is a late out for either Hughes or Sean Darcy.

Absolutely stoked for my little mate Mitch to debut . I’ll be there with boisterous support for him.

A lot of people are surprised that Johnson has kept his place but I’m not one of them.
With Joel and Alex alongside him this is the set up that best suits Michael Johnson.

If I didn’t know better I would suggest there may be a degree of sentiment involved in the retention of Hayden and Michael for this our first ever game at Perth Stadium.

With Crowden and Cerra coming in I think we are a real chance in this game.
Both outstanding with the ball and Mitch is a tackling machine. Watch him slip tackles before hitting up a teammate with a bullet handball out of congestion or just stoke beautifully weighted 50 metre kicks to a teammate’s chest. He is tenacity personified. Calling him a Bull terrier is spot on.

Adam Cerra has excellent skills . Basically a precision kick and a kid who weaves through traffic.
I’m a little surprised with Adams selection owing to not having an entirely heavy pre-season , certainly not as much as Crowden, however I know Ross is very impressed with him. I am half expecting a heavy rotation plan with Mitch and Adam and I expect maybe 40-45 % TOG by each of them. That will be enough anyway to cause a bit of a sensation.
Both are quick players but Mitch likes to break tackles and then run away from his opponent. He knows he’s good.

I hope these two who are our future, tear Essendon a new one ☝️.
Wouldn’t it be great to get a rising star gong in this game.

Who better than you Fred to know how these guys are at training, seeing you are there most days.
High praise indeed for these new guys on their debut.  I'm sure their family's will be there to cheer them on.   looking to erase the first game and hoping the young guys put on a good display.

I have read that Mitch Crowden's parents, brother and sister and his grandparents are flying in from South Australia for the game.

I'm sure Chez's family is on the way from Melbourne as well.
And as the cup goes up hear the shouting
Freooo, Freo.

The excitement is building for our first ever Home Game at Optus.

In spite of Essendon's convincing win over Adelaide, who in turn have now beaten Richmond, I am still confident of downing Essendon on Saturday. The inclusions of Crowden (Fred's little mate) and Cerra are going to have a significant impact on team morale and our ball movement speed. When you then add in the return of Hamling, our backline defence goes up several notches, such is Joel's contribution and value to the side. I think we can pull off an upset win.

I will be arriving at Perth Airport just in time (hopefully) to catch a taxi to the Stadium and watch our boys run out for the one of the biggest games of their lives. This is history making stuff folks and the atmosphere will be electric.

I can't bloody wait to hear the noise we will make and I want to see those purple lights flashing and hear the Dockers theme song blaring at the end of the game.

Come on Dockers - do what the other mob couldn't do, and give us a win for our first ever Home Game at the new Stadium.

Go you Mighty Dockers!!!!
